Mapped Drives Missing Until Explorer.exe is Restarted
Hi,Running Windows 7 Build 7100 and have an issues with network drives that are mapped with a login script. The majority of the times a user boots and the login scripts run one or more of the mapped drives don't appear in Explorer. The issue is resolved by ending the "Explorer.exe" process and restarting it.We have run "Net Use" before and after restarting "explorer.exe" and all of the mapped drives show up in both cases.Any suggestions? I'm sick of restarting explorer! :)-Justin

I am experiencing the same behavior. Mapped drives are accessible via Command line and within application, however they do not display in explorer unless the process is killed and restarted. Any solutions / insight would be greatly appreciated. Matthew

Can you refer this http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/w7itpronetworking/thread/d884e4b9-fce3-4255-8b74-cf3cfd001ffb Reply from Jeradw "They told us to remove the Network Threat Protection module and we havent experienced this problem since. Obviously, this is only a work around, but maybe it will be patched in later versions."
