Mandatory Profiles

Is this possible in an AD environment to use mandatory profiles on certain PC's (meeting room PC's) so that when people log in with their AD account on the PC it assigns a mandatory profile.  Any other PC's they log into their normal non mandatory profile works as normal.  If this is possible can the profile be stored on the local PC and not on a server.

Any help is much appreciated.

Hi Michael,

You can put such computers in a separate OU and define different Group Policies for them. However, Im afraid that we cannot specify different user profiles for a same domain user.

If you need further assistance, you can post the question in Group Policy forum or Directory Services forum for help.

Hope this helps.
