Managing Windows 7 control Panel items in a server 2003 environment.
Hi All. I'm currently in the process of rolling out Windows 7 to the European arm of our business but I'm having a issue with Group Policy as this is still operating in a Server 2003 environment. We need to access to certain parts of the control panel but the .cpl applets are different for Windows 7 so anyone using a windows 7 box can see any of the control panel. Is there a list of .cpl available to add to GPO. Thanks Adam

Hi Adam, after checking the issue, it seems this is a general Windows Server related issue. As this forum focuses on Windows 7 specific issues, this inquiry would best be posted to Windows Server GPO forum: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/winserverGP/threads The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us. Thank you for your understanding.Sean Zhu - MSFT
