I use paint program to create a 16 X 16 bits icon file and save as .ico file and use this ico file for my VS 2012 applicaiton ico, but VS 2012 Express does not recognize this ico file as icon file. I would like to know if I can use paint to create a ico file when I use 16 X 16 and save as ico file. If yes, how can I read as icon file? Once I figure this, I will check how VS 2012 does not recognize the icon file. Your information and help is great appreciated, Regards, Sourises,
