I use paint program to create a 16 X 16 bits icon file and save as .ico file and use this ico file for my VS 2012 applicaiton ico, but VS 2012 Express does not recognize this ico file as icon file. I would like to know if I can use paint to create a ico file when I use 16 X 16 and save as ico file. If yes, how can I read as icon file?
