When I Add a Favorite in the Mail App using the Favorites star - even tho the name appears on the Favorites page in the People App the name DOES NOT appear in the Favorite People List on the Inbox page - but more importantly the emails associated with their names also do NOT show up in the All Favorites List!?? Can anyone help?

Please follow this step to add the favourites:

1. Click Favorites bar in the left pane.

2. Click Browse contacts button as below:

3. It would take you into People App UI, chose one or some person , click Add.

4. They would appear in the favorites list as below:
