Magnifier does not keep setting
Helo, I have Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000. Quite often I use side button to activate the magnifier. After setting the witdth and the height of that window the magnifier keeps that settings until the end of the current Windows session. Restarting Windows causes magnifier to restore the default values. How to correct that? /jas

Bingo! It does keep settings that way, although it is exactly the same settings menu as accessed from the mouse. Thanks, /jas

There a few ways to get to the setting, here is one... Click Start\Control Panel\Ease of Access\Ease of Access Center There you will see in the lower list the second option, Make the computer easier to use, optimize visual display, and click on that. Third item down, check the box for Turn on magnifier That will start the magnifier when you start Windows Try that and see if it will keep the settings. If not, you can turn the setting off.

Hi, I would like to know if the issue occurs on other computers. Regarding the issue, please test the following methods. 1. Update device driver from manufacture's site. http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/d/comfort-mouse-3000 2. Test in Safe Mode and clean boot 3. Try different USB ports. Best Regards, Niki Please remember to click "Mark as Answer" on the post that helps you, and to click "Unmark as Answer" if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
