Magic WOL Wakeup On Lan packet isn't received by any host.
Hello All,
I have switched workstation in my test environment, i was using WinXP Pro. When I used wol.exe to send a Wol packet to one of my other workstations it worked. Now I have changed to Vista Ultimate and I;m unable to use my Wol.Exe tool.
When I send out the command "wol -p=7 00:11:5b:ac:02:14" it replies with:
C:\Users\Tom\Documents\HTPC\Girder>wol 00:11:5b:ac:02:14wol: packet sent to EA60:FFFFFFFF-00:11:5b:ac:02:14
I'm unsure if al those FFFFFFFF are correct.
I also tried "WakeOnLanGui.exe" and "Magic_pkt" both are not working (These also didn;t work for me in the Win XP Pro environment.
Does somebody know how to use WakeUpOnLan on a Vista workstation? I have tried it also with the Firewall disabled.
Best Regards Tom
