But there are no problems with Windows XP? And I think W7 should be more User-Friendly than XP or Vista? I have never a problem connecting to any time and any location with the macbook in any network. It seems to methat this isthe state of the art. But Microsoft will be able to generate a new System in 2009 with the Problems from win98! I think the problem is one of the thousends security options or new Microsoft-Standards. Windows Computer are so safe that they evencould nottalk to each other.

I might suggest, Windows 7 is much higher security than Windows XP. The firewall may not be permitting the connections from the Macbook Pro. I would look at the firewall first. I would also make a user account on the Windows 7 computer with username and password so that the user on the Macbook will not have problems with permissions. This can get kinda advanced so I am being very loose in my descriptions.

Just because something works with Windows XP does NOT mean it works or should work with Windows 7. And, since this is still a PRE-Release Operating system, you are not looking at a finished product. Windows XP has been out for several years. The most recent Mac OS is also older. Windows 7 is much more security oriented, and has more ways to help you fix your own problems than before. It probably is just how more secure it is that is causing this. You should check the firewall. Think about it this way. Windows 7 sees the Mac. The Mac does NOT see the Windows 7 machine. That sounds like the Mac is being blocked from seeing the Windows 7 machine.
