MY temp folder keeps on filling up continuously
HiThis is driving me to distraction - my windows temp folder keeps filling up with tons of files - they amount to over 40GB in one session on the computer - additionally they do not delete themselves on restarting the pc. Can anyone help? I have no idea what is producing these files, even if I have IE open only it still keeps happening.I have installed another anti-virus scanner and adaware (have been using AVG and Malwares) they did not find anything - I really don't know what to do except completely format my drive!!!!1 person got this answerI do too

I have never actually seen it, but see if this article referenced in my notes sounds like your situation and react accordingly:http://dev.ektron.com/kb_article.aspx?id=22182If that is your situation you can also disable the Indexing Service (or at least set it to manual). It is one of the many automatic XP things I will always turn off.Your system will thank you with increased performance.Do, or do not. There is no try.I decided to save up points for a new puppy instead of a pony!
