MS Share Point - Error: Site Not Avaiable
Hi, I've been having trouble getting one computer to access MS Share Point, all others on the same network can log on fine it's just this one machine that cannot. It does it on FireFox, Chrome and IE 8.I did some searching and I found that this issue can be cause by IIS and it's settings. The machine in question did have IIS installed, but now it does not. However, the problem is still there. What can I do about this? Thanks,Andrew1 person needs an answerI do too

There dosn't seem to be any difference between the machine that comes up with the error and other machines. We're even on a new network now. It does have hamachi installed, but so do some of the other machines on the network and they work just fine. Sorry for the late reply, we've moved office so I've not had chance to do anything about this :) EDIT:The only difference is that IP Routing and WINS Proxy are enabled. I've disabled WINS Proxy, it's disabled in ipconfig now but hasn't made a difference to SharePoint. Cheers, Andrew

Did you try a tracert? Are you resolving the ip and/or the fqdn?

I've done a tracert on the domain and the IP, both work just fine. Two brand new machines now also get the error. As far as I can see there is no difference in the ip settings on those machines and the ones that do work.
