MS Share Point - Error: Site Not Avaiable
Hi, I've been having trouble getting one computer to access MS Share Point, all others on the same network can log on fine it's just this one machine that cannot. It does it on FireFox, Chrome and IE 8.I did some searching and I found that this issue can be cause by IIS and it's settings. The machine in question did have IIS installed, but now it does not. However, the problem is still there. What can I do about this? Thanks,Andrew1 person got this answerI do too

hmm, could you post ipconfig/all for a working machine and a non working machine? If you try to access the sharepoint site by ip, does it work? Do you have a hosts file, did you try flushing your DNS records (ipconfig /flushdns). Does the tracert show the same (exact) results on a working machine vs a non working machine?

Maybe I should have explained a little better, I can get onto the site and try and login, but I get to this page with the correct login details:https://www.kitlocker.sharesrvr.com/_layouts/AccessDenied.aspx?Source=%2f

ok, so if I understand correctly you are get the login credentials box instead of it taking your windows credentials and auto logging you in? Is that the correct issue?

Appologies, I should have given more infomation.I have figured out the problem. I just noticed by chance that the machines that were working did not have 'www.' at the start of the address saved in the bookmarks/visited sites. Whereas the ones that were bringing up that error did have it. I pointed one of the 'non-working' computers browsers to the non-www site and it worked just fine! I feel so stupid, haha. Very, very sorry for wasting your time. Thank you so much for helping!
