MS Research's InkSeine embellishes the Win 7 Tablet experience
I recently discovered a very interesting tool coming out of Microsoft Research. InkSeine is an application for tablets that if further developed, would make a superior replacement to the snipping tool and improve the many attempts to utilize handpanning (e.g., IE8, Outlook) to scroll using a pen or finger. It has this really cool little transparent tool-ring that allows you to easily scroll through ay pages or lists in any application by simply rotating your pen (clockwise to scroll down; counter clockwise to scroll up). This tool-ring also has a camera icon that takes screen clips like the snipping tool, but is just a little more intuitive. Its presentation and operation fits seamlessly with the Win 7 look & feel. There are some really cool things that come out of Microsoft Research! Jim Wilt [MVP, MCA-Solutions]
