I had this posted in another forum and was told that this forum might be better able to help.

Could someone tell me how to reduce the width of the basic Lync window on the desktop, but still have it appear.  Window will increase in size but opens to a minimum size of 1/4 the entire desktop width.  This was reducible in last version I had.  Thanks.

If you can't reduce the width any further, then you're at the thinnest it's going to get, which is a bit wide. It's by design and you won't be able to reduce it further.

If you want it change, www.skypefeedback.com is really your only route.  Let them know what you'd like to see.

Agree with Anthony Caragol.

It is not possible to modify the size of Lync window.

You may need to custom your own Lync client, you can post the question on MSDN Lync SDK forum. Thank you for your understanding.
