MSE & Windows Defender
Hi All, I have installed Microsoft Security Essentials on my computer but I found that Windows defender are still listed in the startup program list (msconfig.exe). My questions are: Does MSE conflict, or overlap, with Windows defender? Are MSE's functionalities a superset of Windows defender? Can I simply turn off windows defender (both in startup and services) ane leave only MSE? Will this compromise the security of my computer? Thanks, Bob
