MSDarT70 Standalone System Sweeper definition update fails
OK found answer. Seems the System Sweeper Engine was updated so extracted from the DEF exe and replaced the existing files from within x:\program files\standalone system sweeper\engine.

I was just able to update DART successfully, so maybe the problem is resolved? Try it out and see if it works for you...

I would not call this resolved, since the 'fix' just band-aids the problem momentarily. The real problem here is WHY the definition package installer isn't correctly loading the updated signatures. I too am having this problem, just posted about it. /Tony

OK pulling my hair out on this one. Generated a 64-bit Dart70.iso using the latest Dart tool. Attempting to run the Standalone System Sweeper on a VM Build. First I notice that the default Antivirus Version is showing 1.0.0.0 and not what I included in
the ISO build. When I attempt to either browse to the mpam-fex64.exe or download directly from MS from within the Standalone System Sweeper, I get the following error: The program can't install definition updates. Error found: Code 0x8007051a. Indicates two
revision levels are incompatible. I have tried different versions of DART, rebuilding the ISO, increasing the scratch space in DISM. Nothing seems to help. I did have an ISO I built back on May 2011 and it works with the existing DEF dated same, but I still
cannot manually update the definitions. Anyone?

Can you please give me detail as to what exactly you did to get it to work. I'm having same issue. I'm not sure what you mean by DEF exe and the path you are reffereing to.
