MICROSOFT BACKUP DELETED FILES
I am backing up with Microsoft Backup and running Windows 7 to an external hard drive. Files I have deleted in Excel and My Pictures files still show up in the Backup when I go to the restore files and browse for files. I tried deleting all the old backups (except the WindowsImageBackup) and then backing up again and the deleted files are still there??

Please refer to the following article to delete old backups. Then re-run the backup. Make sure that the Recycle Bin is cleared. If the issue still occurs, please let us know the location of the files. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Ok, that issue is resolved but now I have a new problem in Microsoft Backup. I tried to restore my Sticky Notes using the "find file" and was able to find the file (usesr/my name/appdata/roaming/microsoft/stickynotes) with the correct backup date but it did not change the sticky notes. I then deleted a sticky note and tried to restore again but there is no change to my current sticky notes? Thanks
