MBAM initial setup
We are looking to use MBAM possibly but are stuck now at the Recovery Database part. I find it hard to believe that the SQL version must be the Enterprise version but it seems to be true. Can anyone explain why that is?
I guess the next question is, do we have to have the Recovery Database part for MBAM? Are we still able to pull information out via AD? Our main goal at this was to have the ablility to use bitlocker for computers that have been deployed and
see that they have been encrypted. I dont care as much about makign it easy for them to get their recovery keys back.
Thanks for any information

You can install MBAM without recovery key DB feature.

You will use AD for bitlocker recovery keys.
Make sure that GPO is enabled to back up keys to AD.
