MBAM Client German/US Keyboard layout issues
Hi Folks,
I am currently testing MBAM 1.0 and we have an issue with the German Keyboard.
In the BIOS the keyboard layout is set to German.
If the user uses any German keyboard character, the password is then not recognized during the next boot up. ie, if the password is
qwertz (German) then when the user enters the password at TPM password entry, he has to enter
qwerty (US). It's worse if the user uses any special characters.
Is there a configuration or a workaround for this?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi tssav,
no, that is how it works, qwerty only. I suggest to add it to the users manual.
Good luck,

MBAM 1.0 takes below characters or combination of:
0-9, a-z, A-Z
It does not take special characters.
We are working to include special characters in MBAM 2.0

Thank you all for your input. We all know that most users can't/won't read. We have made the decision to stick to numerical pin only.
Thanks again!
