MBAM - How do you delay bitlocker encryption and user prompt until 24 hours after a system is built using an sccm task sequence?
We are trying to find a way to delay MBAM/Bitlocker from encrypting until 24 hours after a machine has been built with sccm. Our process is currently set to begin encryption immediataly after building. However, we have added additional steps to the process in the form of task sequences that are kicked off by a separate process (1E). Those steps install user specific applications and in some cases re-imports some user data/settings. The problem is after the inital base build completes, the system starts encrypting which then delays the follow up task sequences. We would like to install MBAM during the build task sequence process but have encryption delayed about 24 hours until everything else completes. We want encryption to start without user intervention or prompting. Ideas?

This might be overly simple, but could you schedule a "manage-bde pause" against the volume and 24 hours later run a "manage-bde resume" to finish the encryption process?

It's always the simple answer.
