Lync server 2013 -workflow DTMF settings

Hi all,

wondering if its possible to change DTMF settings for a workflow.

We are having issue that 20% of our inbound calls are failing when choise 1-4 is choosen.IF they select a workflow that has more choises,it fails after choosing that choise.

Ex: dialin to main switchboard the user press 4.

Option 4 has two more choises and when chose any of them, calls disconnect.

If they chose 1-3 (which does not have sub options) calls disconnect.

We have re-created workflow and groups without any help.If user use speech it works, its just when pressing the key it fails.

We have updated to lates

Hi,

Please check if you receive any issues on FE Server when the issue happen.

Please try to restart Lync Services and then test the issue again.

Please check if the issue also happen when a internal Lync user call the Response Group. If the issue not happen, check the setting of gateway.

Hi,

Please check also that all available FE works fine with the responsegroup service and the match maker service is available for all FE server.

You can also activate the logging for the responsegroup to find out, why the call will be disconnected.

Thanks all,

we have enabled logging for responsegroup and it does not show any error.Only monitoring is showing :

Diagnostic ID 26029; reason="Call is disconnected because of invalid configuration"

As mentioned we have re-created the workflows/queues and groups without any help.Server been patched and rebooted and still same issue.

When we test it all works fine, only 20% of our customers are experiencing this issue, while its fine for the rest 80%.

Will asked customer that is having the issue to use voice instead and see if it works. If voice works, then i guess its DTMF issue.Since you can only adjust DTMF for conferencing and not workflow, then i guess its siptrunk issue?

Any settings we can change from Lync side before i contact our SIP trunk provider?

Please check, that only one application endpoint exist for the announcement service. I had a similar issue from a Lync 2010 migration, weher I had two application endpoints and calls are only rejected from one of the FE servers.

You will see a error on the eventlog if you start the RGS service, that only one application endpoit can be registered.

I had to delete the other application endpoint through adsieedit.

Hi Holger and thanks for your info.

Yes we did a move-CsApplicationEndpoint from 2010 to 2013 environment its after this problem started to occure.

When i run Get-CsApplicationEndpoint i have tree of Announcement service,2 audio test service, 2 callpark service and 2 rgs precense watcher.

When i restart Responsegroup service i get 3 error with different SIP URI:

Application endpoint for Contact object cannot be created.

The following exception was thrown during application endpoint creation for Contact object 'sip:RtcApplication-db86d016-4e7d-48ba-a75f-976b94ad9486@domain.com'. The Response Group associated with this endpoint will not be available.
Exception: System.ArgumentException - Only one default routing endpoint is allowed per platform. The platform already contains a default routing Endpoint.
Inner Exception: ~

Cause: Networking problems with the Front End server, or Front End server configuration problems.
Resolution:
Check for eventual SIP errors on the Front End servers.

Then i guess its these three SIP contact i can delete from ADSI EDIT?

As far as i have checked, there should be only one of each application endpoint per pool?

Thanks!

Yes, that is correct.

I had the same problem. The reult was that after the call goes to the RGS Que, the all was disconnectet.

I delete one of the application endpoint with adisedit and restart the rgs service.

After the restart everything was ok.
