Lync recording on an idividual client basis

Hi

Can you tell me if the option for recording calls and or conferences can be enabled on an individual client basis where users have to request the recording functionality on request or is this something that can only be enabled/disabled on a globally for our organisation?

Thank you.

Not natively without creating a conference, though there are free utils that can be put on the PC to help.  I write about it a bit here: http://www.skypeadmin.com/2013/06/23/quick-tip-one-off-call-recording-solution-for-lync/

Hi Loulu5991,

Lync client only can record a Lync meeting , when you record a Lync Meeting, you capture audio, video, instant messaging (IM), screen sharing, PowerPoint slides, whiteboard, and polling.
