Hi

I don't think Microsoft have published maximums for this. Generally the recording will go on for as long as the conference lasts or until someone stops recording. The file size constraint is based on your local hard drive capacity. Large recordings will obviously have an impact on machine resources. Why would you want to record a 24 hour conference anyway? You can always use Skype Broadcast Meetings that will record your conferences for you without overhead on your system went it comes out to GA!

thanks

Hi ksrugi,

Agree with Mark, the recording should go on for as long as the conference lasts or until someone stops recording.

Also the file size should not be a problem if your file system is NTFS format.

Resolution

  Bitrate, Frame Rate

Estimated file size for 1-hour meeting (observed on Windows 8*)

 480p (854 x 480)

  500kbps, 15fps

  150MB

 720p (1280 x 720)

  1250kbps, 15fps

  250MB

 1080p (1920 x 1080)

  2500kbps, 15fps

  400MB
