Lync for Mac 2011- Missing Certificates

I updated my Lync for Mac 2011 and I haven't been able to log in since.  If I delete Lync and reinstall without the latest update (14.0.1) then at least I can see Lync but I can't log in.  It says "Lync was unable to sing in. Please verify your logon credentials and try again.  If the problem continues, please contact your support team."  We are on Office365 in our office and I'm the only one that seems to be missing my certificate in the keychain.  Everyone else is having no problem with Lync.

If I run the update (to 14.0.7) then Lync doesn't even open (this is reproducable every time I do this uninstall, reinstall, update sequence), I just get a big fail window that says the following:

I've checked out all the forums and walked through some of the steps and I think I figured out my issue: I have NO certificate in my keychain whatsoever; Known or unknown.  My account/system administrator here is unsure how to get me a certificate because we use Office 365 and he says when I install Lync or try to log in it should be giving me a new certificate.  Does anyone know how to get me a certificate?  Or know how my administrator will get it to install a new certificate?

Had the same issue.

Found this posting.  Copied the folder using terminal and Lync 14.0.7 now starts successfully.

Yeah this doesn't work for me either.  I need a certificate, but we don't know how to get me one.  Lync did work on my Mac at one point a few months ago then one day it decided it didn't want to work anymore.  When I looked into the issue in forums I figured out that I completely lack a certificate in the keychain and that's why I can't login or even open Lync for that matter.  My system administrator isn't sure how to get another certificate into my keychain because it should have put a new cert in there when we uninstalled and reinstalled.  (I also need more detailed instructions when it comes to fixing this issue as I'm not exactly a Mac-expert.  I know enough, but not everything.)
