Lync federation- block program sharing but enable power point
Can we enable IM, AV, power point,whiteboard and polls in federation but disable program sharing, desktop
sharing and file transfer. If yes how can we achieve it?

Hi,
Unfortunately, although you can choose to enable / disable any of those features, you cannot choose to do so on a federated VS non-federated basis.
The policies that control those features can be applied at global, site, and users levels, but not based on whether the person your communicating with is a federated user or not - sorry.
