i've uploaded my profile picture in SharePoint Online, and it should have also appeared in my Lync client, but even after some time, it still doesn't appear. 

I'm not using any of the other office 365 services, only SharePoint Online and Lync client.

Have you set up the social connector for Outlook to connect to your profile?  What are you using for email?

i'm only using  SPO and Lync client, i'm using some other email provider.

all of my other colleagues did the same thing, but for them, the picture appeared in Lync after uploading it into MOP.
