Hi, there are no other native settings available for resizing the Lync client other than what you have already done.
If you're not working with the client, there's no harm in minimising or closing it as things will continue to run in the background.
There is also the option of having Lync not startup in the foreground if that is an annoyance via Options > Personal.
There may be entries in the registry that would allow you manipulate its size, naturally those would not be persistant when you logged onto another machine, and would no doubt result in unpredictable client behavior regarding formatting and display - needless to say it would be an unsupported change.

Ben

There are entries in the registry that allow you manipulate its size, it is reflecting the click and drag you did. So it doesnt matter to change that in registry.
Usually, the smallest window doesnt take up 1/3 the screen.
Please check if you can have the same issue on another computer.
If the problem only exists on your computer, try to uninstall and reinstall your Lync client.
The size issue is not user dependent, it's a Lync issue.
The open panel is too large. it takes up too much real estate for a laptop or LCD.
I like to leave it open in the corner of my screen to see activities, but it's too large now.
Where/what are the Registry settings to adjust?
