Lync Simultaneous ring doesn't stop notifying old delegates

I have set up simultaneous ring for a Lync User - TempCG it had 5 people set to simultaneous ring. After removing 2 of the delegates they don't receive calls anymore however they are still seeing missed calls and also being notified of voice mails through UM.

I have tried disabling and re-enabling UM but it is still happening.

Hi hendersonnv,

Please try to disable the simultaneous ring in Lync client and test if the issue happen again.

In addition, you can try to reconfigure the simultaneous ring for the user by using SEFAUtil tool.

For example,

SEFAUtil.exe /server: lyncserver.contoso.com sip:UserA@contoso.com /adddelegate:UserB@contoso.com /simulringdelegates

Eric

Hi Eric,

thanks for the response, though I have tried removing, disabling from the Lync client and have tried using the utility as well and I still have the issue.

Hi hendersonnv,

Based on my experience, I doubt that it might be a SQL back end issue.

As I know, if the call timed out and then Lync server will process the hang up and send a SIP INFO message to Exchange UM. Exchange UM will do reverse number lookup in AD and the called user's Outlook Contacts and will generate the Missed Call Notification message.

I suggest you can contact Microsoft Support Service to get dedicated help.

Best regards,

Eric
