I'm setting up Lync Server 2013 Standard Edition.

Can i use only one server for 800 users with high performance,

64bit, 6 core, RAM 32 GB

And can i use for external user without Edge Server and TMG Proxy Server ?

I think, for the external user can use by forword port 80,443 and NAT direct to a Lync Server same as internal user that direct connect to a Lync Server.

The tool asks you a series of questions about your organization and the features you needed and you will also asked to enter the number of users. The planning tool will then use your answers to recommend a topology based on the tested Microsoft Lync Server 2013 user model.
