I cannot find any detailed info regarding how the call data from a Lync client gets to the archive database. As I understand it this is the process for an outbound call to the PSTN:
- Lync Client makes call
- Call data is stored in a local cache
- After the call CDR data is sent to the FE
- FE trickles the data to the archive database
I relation to a previous question I posed, if a call goes unanswered Lync does not consider it a call and no data is sent to the FE for entry into the archive.
My interest here is to see if I can capture data for unanswered calls before the data is discarded. First I need to know exactly how data is captured, transmitted and stored.
Any information regarding this would be appreciated.
