We have recently completed an interforest migration where in source forest users were using Lync 2010 and had created some Lync meeting that are migrated to new forest as part of their mailbox migration.

Target forest has Lync 2013 with entirely different Lync infrastructure. The challenge we have is that pre-existing lync meetings have LYNC URL and Dial-in number from source forest which we are trying to update in target

We tried to use the Lync meeting update tool but it seems to be failing with error

"MeetingMigration.exe Error: 0 : Exception was throw out in Method: SchedulePublicMeeting. Failed to read public Conference information. Exception details: Object reference not set to instance of an object.

Has anyone seen this error before and know what could be the possible reason.

I also wanted to know whether the Lync meeting update tool updates the Phone URL, Dial-in Url only or also updates the meet URL

Any help in this regard would be much appreciated.

I nevver have seen this error, but the lync online invite will be updated complete for the specific user.

I use Lync 2013 and Outlook 2013 for the update tool.

the easit and fast way is to have user resend the meeting invite with new meeting URL using outlook
