Lync Enable User problem (LookupUserConsole.exe)

Hi,

I have a problem with Lync 2013 and user enable. After a colleage brings up one template with the same domain computer account name of the Lync Server by mistake (actually the template machine was a clone of this Lync Server) things messed up.

After enabling an user by Control Panel or management shell,  I can see the details of the account with Get-CsUser command, but when I use the LookupUserConsole.exe I receive the message "UserDoesNotExist".

Can anyone help with this issue?

Thanks.

Hi Denis_Cyrillo,

You can try the followings:

1. Run Update-CsUserDataBase to force the Back End to re-read all the user-related information stored in Active Directory Domain Services.

2. Run Reset-CsPoolRegistrarState -PoolFqdn "PoolName" -ResetType FullReset

3. Reboot the server and start the Lync Front End Service.

Best regards,

Eric

Hi Eric,

Thanks for answer my question, I did that but the issue persists...

Is there a way to check the sync from Active Directory and the SQL Database?

It appears that the problem is writing the user info to sql database, but I cant see any log about it.

Thanks!
