Lync Attendant automatically answering calls

We have two users running Lync Attendant 2010 and occasionally a call will automatically answer. They report it has also happened during a call, with the original call being placed on hold.

We run Lync server 2013 and these are the only users running the attendant.

Both users are on windows 8.1 using different headsets

I've turned on logging on both computers but I don't know where to go from here.

Any ideas what might be causing this?

Thank you

Hi Lewis,

Could you please confirm are these user enabled for Enterprise voice, & can you check weather EV setting lync control panel where we configure Trunk is the early dialogue enabled?

Normally calls gets on hold if you have inter networking with PSTN.

Hi,

Please make sure Lync Attendant 2010 update to the latest version.

Please also try to install Lync 2013 client on the issued computer and check if the same issue happen again or not.

Thank you Zahoor, the users are set to enterprise voice.

Under trunk configuration it is set with Maximum early dialogs supported 20 and Enable media bypass.

Calls are still being put on hold but occasionally they're getting answered.

Hi,

Please try to disable the issued Lync account, enable them again and then test the issue again.

I'm curious if you got to the bottom of this issue?

If you want to eliminate/isolate that this only happens on Attendant 2010 client you could run Lync 2013/Skype4B and see if it happens there as well. Or, in a similar vein, you could run Attendant Pro for Skype for Business (Lync) http://landiscomputer.com/attendantpro temporarily to see if it happens in the Skype4B (Lync) client as well.

In any event, i'm interested in hearing what is the solution to this in Attendant 2010

Hey Matt,

I've been unwell lately so testing has been slow on this issue, as time becoming a problem I am moving the users onto 2013 to see if the issue persists. I'll update this thread when I have more information
