Lync Attendant Console

I have a client which had a ApphangB1 when she started the lync attendant console.

I found out now that if I remove the program. Restart the pc. Reinstall the attendant. It works

If she then reboots the pc , she gets the ApphangB1 again and I have to remove the program and reinstall it again.

what can this be ?

Hi,

Maybe something related with Lync local cache?

Try clean the cache: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Communicator\

Hi,

Please login Lync attendant console on other well-worked computer with her Lync account to test the issue.

Please use other Lync account login her Lync client to test the issue again.

Please check if the client update to the latest version for Lync server, client and the OS of her Lync client.

Best Regards,

I tried with another user on her pc , same issue

I tried with her login on another pc, no problem

I cleaned the cache as well but it does not help

I will have to check if the latest updates have been installed now.

But before I did the restore of the pc it was this case so I don't think this is the problem, nor the solution

Hello,

If you want go deep on troubleshoot try use Process Explorer (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx) and Process Monitor (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/sysinternals/bb896645) and see what application or file is causing the behaviour.

Probably it will take more time rather than rebuild the PC.

Good luck.
