Lync 2013 won't open

I have installed Office 365 on Win 7 Home Premium.  After a couple of weeks, Lync started replying the following error when I attempted to start and sign in.

Error:

I have researched this issue and do not seem to be able to find a resolution.  To add frustration, I am able to use Lync 2013 on other devices (pc, laptop, and iPad) with no issue.

Thanks,

Hi,

Did the Lync an on-premises environment or a Lync online environment?

You can try to delete Lync user profile on your local computer and then test again.

You can also check if Office 365 is the latest version, if not, update to the latest version and then test again.
