My situation goes as follows: 

I have a user using lync2013 and microsoft exchange 2010.  Here at the office we run everything off of VMWare.  When the user is logged into lync2013 on a separate windows machine and has conversations and closes them out, they DO SAVE to the conversations history folder. When the user is on VMWare doing the same exact thing, none of the conversations will save.  I looked everywhere to find a solution and can't figure this one out.  

Please help!

please press strg and right click with the mouse on the Lync icon onb the task bar.

Check if the configuration information shows mapi and EWS deployment is OK.

If not, you hgave to troubleshoot this issue:
