Hi Raju,
I added the same in IE Lan Settings - Bypass Proxy for Local address & Exceptions
by modifying according to our setup. but the prompt is not stopping!!!
HI
Check this Thread
Hi Raju,
The outlook integration & Exchange Service looks fine.
I suspect proxy\Firewall related issue.
Ports 443, 5060, and 5061 must be open on the firewall and on proxy servers to enable traffic to pass freely.
What is the above statement meaning. The ports should be open between proxy\firewall & .................???????
I mean which is the target device \ Server?
Dear Kent,
We are using Lync 2010 server
But we have few Lync 2013 Clients where we are facing this issue.
Lync 2010 Server is up to date
Even Lync 2013 Client is Up to date
:(
Hi,
So this does not happen on Lync 2010 client?
As the issue may occur if firewall or proxy is blocking Lync from connecting to the Exchange Web Services, please try to turn off Windows firewall or third party anti-virus software to test the issue.
In addition, you can try the issue from other workstation.
Its only for Lync 2013 client+2010 Lync Server Combination
Our Lync 2010 Client + Lync 2010 Server combination works fine.
You mean local system windows firewall & AV we need to turn of & check?
Hi,
Here is a similar case for your reference. It seems that Lync 2013 client have some hard coded web lookups to various Microsoft domains.

Hi Kent,
This i did tested the scenario in my environment by doing the bypass of above said URLs in IE exception - Connection -LAN Settings
I have tried stopping AVs in the Local Machine.
I even tried stopping Windows Firewall, Defender etc
My worry is why it is prompting like
site\Firewall : localhost
In the above Image of Prompt
I thought this is an issue in the local system
I am really not getting any solution from any where
Please let me know if it is Known Issue,,,, so that we can justify to our management..
Any link to the same :( :( :(
Dear All,

I have installed Windows 8.1 64 BIT machine
Joined to Domain
Installed Lync 2013 64 BIT client
But the issue remains same.
I am surprised Microsoft has still not resolved this DVIATION
Please some one guide on
1.Which URLs needs to be bypassed in the Proxy \ Firewall
2.What is exactly blocking the client
