Lync 2013 client not responding
I have a Lync 2013 client, and whenever I connect to a meeting or start Meet now, it says not responding.
Fixes tried,
Un-install Office
Uninstall RealTek Audio Driver
The problem seems to be with the Audio driver, because when I disable the driver I am able to connect to the meeting but still with issues though.
I am using a Sony Vaio Flip with Windows 8.1

These are always driver issues. Sometimes the best you can do is go with a generic or older driver if the most recent driver for your firmware doesn't work. What other issues do you see when connecting to the meeting?

Hi,
- Please update Audio driver to the latest version and then test the issue.
- Please try to remove Bluetooth software and then test again.
- If the issue persists, please try to perform Clean Boot mode to check if there is any conflict with other software.

Hi
I tried to update the Audio Driver - it said it's the latest version however I uninstalled and resinstalled - No luck
I uninstalled again and download the drivers from Sony's website and Realtek's website - No luck
Uninstalled Bluetooth driver and Software after above - No luck
Checked - there isn't any other software conflicting.

Webcam and Mic working properly as I had a Skype call and everything was fine.

Ok Yogesh,
Do you are using any proxy server in your environment ?
Are you calling from a proxy network client system ?
Are you able to ping the FQDN of your lync communicator server ?
If yes... than try using NATed system or data care for next step of troubleshoot.

Its neither a proxy server or a proxy network client system.
Didnt get what you mean by NATed System or Data Care?
If I use any other system /PC - Lync works perfectly fine.

The problem is solved now!
What I did was below,
There were numerous C++ Re distributable programs of 2005, 2008 and I uninstalled all of them from programs. I did not uninstall .Net or any other programs.
This fixed my issue and now I am able to use Lync Client 2013.
Thanks all for your support and guidance - hope this is a permanent solution.
