Lync 2013 and Lync 2010 messed up

Hi guys.

I make a new installation of Lync2013 but i also have the Lync 2010 on my network. When i switch off the 2010 server then i cant login to Lync 2013 Server Control Panel. If i turn on the 2010 then i am able to login again. What is that the old server has than the new one does not?

thank you

Are you saying you can't login (as in prompted but can't authenticate) or that it comes up as Page Cannot be Displayed?

If it is the latter are you able to access it via https://yourlync2013serverfqdn/cscp from Internet Explorer?

Make sure your https://yourlync2013serverfqdn is in Trusted Sites

Also see if you SQL Server Browser service is running on the Lync Front End Server if it's not start it and retry.

You don't happen to have any AD roles or anything like that running on your Lync 2010 server?

No all AD roles are on the central server which it is always on the network.

Yes that what i was just looking for now. i am getting this.

There was a problem communicating with the Group Pickup backend database.

There were problems accessing SQL server:
Connection: Data Source=(local)\rtc;Initial Catalog=cpsdyn;Integrated Security=True
Message: The EXECUTE permission was denied on the object 'DbpGetVersionSchema', database 'cpsdyn', schema 'dbo'.
Error code: -2146232060
Error number: 229
Cause: This may be caused by connectivity issues with the backend database.
Resolution:
Check if SQL backend is running and accepts connections from Group Pickup.

Did you move your CMS Server to the new Lync 2013 environment via Move- CsManagementServer ? http ://tsoorad.blogspot.co.at/2013/01/moving-lync-2010-cms-in-2013-coexistence.html

As long as the Lync 2010 is the CMS Server it hosts the necessary databases, so if you witch off your Lync 2010 server there is no access to the CMS and you can't access the control panel.

Thank you my friend.. That was the solution... i didn't do that for unknown reason..

just one thing more.. after finishing this i get some warnings

WARNING: The move completed successfully but the following additional steps are required:

Run local setup on the following computers to remove Central Management services that are no longer defined in the
topology:
    - cmsappserver.cms.local

WARNING: "Move-CsManagementServer" processing has completed with warnings. "1" warnings were recorded during this run.
WARNING: Detailed results can be found at
"C:\Users\administrator.CMS\AppData\Local\Temp\Move-CsManagementServer-8276d86a-adff-4703-9562-5b1a7439239a.html".

For the old server: i dont care about it because i am going to leave it off.

For the other Warning, do i have to do something?

thank you in advance
