On the Lync 2013 IOS mobile client, I noticed that the work number in the Lync contact is not correct.  It has a 10 digit number vs. a 4 digit number in the full Lync 2013 client.  In other words, I search for the same contact in the full client, and the work number is different than the work number in the mobile client.

How does the mobile lync client get the Lync contacts information vs the full client?

Which number stored in AD (4 digit number or 10 digit number)?

Please double check if you have synchronized the address book of both Lync desktop and mobile client.
