Lync 2013 (Migrated from Lync 2010) not able to use mobility feature.

We recently migrated from Lync 2010 to Lync 2013. Mobility was not configured earlier. We tried by following the steps mentioned on Microsoft's website. By creating DNS records internally and externally. But neither internally nor externally we are able to login using mobile App (Android).

Can somebody please help. Let me know if any other information is required.

Also I wanted to add as we migrated recently but both (Lync 2010 and 2013 server both are in ON state).

But Lync Analyzer somehow is considering Lync2010 in its discovery.

Which proxy do you use?

Have you configured lyncdiscover.sip.domain for external access to the proxy?

Have you run the mobility configuration after the installation of the Lync 2013 CU?

Hi,

To support Lync mobility function, you need to deploy a Reverse Proxy on DMZ zone, you can use IIS ARR to deploy it.

http://blogs.technet.com/b/nexthop/archive/2013/02/19/using-iis-arr-as-a-reverse-proxy-for-lync-server-2013.aspx

If you have deploy the Reverse proxy already, for the DNS requirement, Please make sure on external DNS Server, the A records, such as: lyncdiscover.domain.com, webext.domain.com (Lync external Web URL) should point to the public IP of Reverse Proxy. For internal DNS Server, lyncdiscoverinternal.domain.com, webint.domain.com (Lync internal Web URL) should point to the IP of FE/Standard Edition.

For the migration process, you can refer to the link below:

Hello Holger,

We don't have any proxy configured right now. Is it necessary to configure proxy for mobility or there is way that we can configure it without it also. Yes we ran mobility configuration after the installation of the Lync 2013 Cu.
