Lync 2013-Autodiscovery being forced by GPO

Hey guys,

I have made a change in Group Policy and now trying to force my clients back to use AutoDiscovery for their Lync server.  So I loaded the Lync2013 template and change the "Specify Server" to disabled.  According to the template in the GPO, if you disable that policy setting Lync will use a DNS lookup to indentify the server.  That would be perfect.  The problem is the GPO then greys out the entire "Advanced" tab so I cannot verify this.  I try to go into HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync\user@contoso.com\Autodiscovery to very it is working correctly and do not see which setting can verify this setting.  If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

Dave

That is the regkey I see in the Lync2013 Admin template that makes the GPO, but no configurationmode key in that location in the clients that receive the GPO.  That is what is making me question the GPO itself and I might just make my own GPO with that settings in there and deploy it that way.  If I look under HKCU\Software\policies\microsoft\office\15.0\lync I do see configurationmode of 0
