I would like to use my home video camera, when running Lync 2013 from Remote connection.

My setup:

1. VPN to company network

2. Remote to my office computer

3. Running Lync 2013 on office computer

Home:

1. No video with Lync 2013 from office computer

Of course, if I direct connect from home computer to Lync 2013 over VPN, I do have video.

But, I have to switch between RDC and Home Computer.

Im not familiar with Remote Desktop Connection, but you may try the following suggestion to troubleshoot your problem.

1. Launch Remote Desktop Connection.
2. Press the down arrow icon next to "Options" and navigate to the "Local Resources" tab and click More Information.
3. Check if the Camera device is listed in the list.

If it is not in, Im afraid you cant use the local device over RDP.
