Lync 2010 installation problem on some Windows 7 X64 workstation

Greetings,

We're currently having problem to install Lync 2010 on some workstation, sometime it works fine, and other time the install just fail. I Looked the logs and I finally found something that doesn't work:

MSI (s) (B0:24) [13:15:04:520]: Product: Microsoft Lync 2010 -- Error 1310. Error writing to file: C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\plugins\npMeetingJoinPluginOC.dll. System error 0. Verify that you have access to that directory.

than I tried to delete the folder to see if I'm able to install the product without it but I receive this error:

I'm unable to delete the folder, the only methode that was successful was to use PSexec or a live cd.

that's weird because on those workstation Mozilla firefox and even the folder wasn't there. It appears only when we tried to install Lync.

Once deleted the installation works like a charm.

Does this problem ever occured to you guys?

If some machines work fine, you can compare the system environment between them.

And this document describes the compatibility of Microsoft Lync 2010. Have a check.

In addition, some anti-virus applications may also block your installation. Please confirm.

You need to change permissions on the C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\  to be full control for "Users". Then it should work without a hitch.
