Lync 2010 SSL Certificate Renewal

I've got a Lync 2010 environment set up consisting of a single front-end server and a single monitoring server. The certificate, which was requested from an internal CA, is set to expire in a few days and I'm trying to confirm if its necessary for me to renew the certificate manually? I understand that it's not possible to do auto-enrollment in Lync 2010 but if I do nothing will the SSL auto-renew?

Any responses appreciated.

It is a manual process, you can follow the same steps used to install the original certificates. Some additional info: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2736171

This article for some reason appears to more about how to view certificates as opposed to documenting all of the steps to renew the certificate. Either way I'll give it a go so thanks for the response.

You need to renew the certificate manually.

Run the Lync Server Deployment Wizard to request the certificate for Lync Server again.

These replies, tho appreciated, seem incomplete. I run the deployment wizard and request the cert. What steps should I follow to Assign the new cert? This may seem to be common knowledge but I'd expect there to be something well documented by Microsoft to have as a reference.

The deployment wizard will assign the certificate to services as well, take a look at: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg398995.aspx
