Lync 2010 Call Logs & Calendar Not Visible

Hello,

I am new to Lync and Lync was set it up before I arrive to my company so I tried to learn as much as I can but still my knowledge is not enough to solve this issue below.

Suddenly this week Lync Client & HP 4120 phones stopped showing Call Logs and Calendar. If I go to Outlook under Conversation History I can see all the logs but it says Connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable on the phone screen. I've checked all the services running and follow so many instructions to fix this issue but nothing. I can see that EWS Information is showing as not deployed on Lync Configuration Information window and I think this is why I lost all the log information.

I cannot update these HP phones as well, there is no activity when I try to update them using Lync CSCP putting the mac address etc. But this is another issue to be checked later, I am just writing this if it's related.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

Call logs will be get through the Exchange EWS services.

Is something change on your DNS configuration for Exchange autodiscover?

If the EWS on the lync configuration shows EWS not deployed, check this page

Hello,

Thank you for the reply. Nothing's changed on DNS. When I checked from Exchange, I can see Autodiscovery addreses correctly. I've checked your link and when I remove this entry below from registry, I see that it will not be regenerated. I think this is my problem. I don't see any Autodiscover folder now in registry under HKCU.

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Communicator\<SIP URI>\Autodiscovery

Exchange is fine, it seems like Lync doesn't recognize the autodiscovery addreses.

How do I fix this?

Thanks.
