Lost wireless connection w/ HP Photosmart D7460 Printer
I connect with my HP Photosmart D7460 printer through an Actiontec GT701-WG router and modem. I lost connectivity abruptly and can no longer print remotely. USB direct connection works fine so no mechanical issues with printer. I've re-installed all current drivers, reloaded printer software, powered off /on all components, created and tested new IP addresses both for the printer and through the router with no success. The printer is recognized by the network (I can get printer status report throught the printers IP Address), the printer status shows as active/ready, and print jobs show up in print que, but are not actually being printed. There are no print spooler issues indicated.1 person needs an answerI do too

HiTry to configure the printer to a static IP, and then re-do its settings with its software. The extended manual of the printer should have info about Static IP setting. Jack-MVP Windows Networking. WWW.EZLAN.NET
