Hello, My Advent desktop had a virus so I reformat it, re-installed Windows Vista but I have lost everything. I cannot connect to the internet whilst having it plugged in and lights are working fine. At the moment, I am using my sister's computer to ask questions. I don't know what to do, I can't use my PC. Is there like a CD for me to install all the programs, hardware, devices, etc?? If there is which one should I ask for? Also, I have a Windows 7 CD but I'm not sure if it'd be wise for me to use it since my computer used to have Windows Vista. Would you advise me to use Windows 7 instead? If so, could I please have a step-by-step guide which includes everything to make it work normally again. Any information would be much appreciated.
