Lost desktop Copy/Burn Icon-Tower (3-dimensional)
I'm a computer tech who's never been this dumb before. In upgrading from Windows XP to Windows 7 Home Professional edition, I purchased a used computer that had Windows 7 pre-installed. On the desktop was a 3-dimensional Icon Stack or Tower (ie. a vertical stack of 4 icons with 2 sides and a top) for copying/burning files and discs, etc. I learned to use these icons through a short process of trial and error and really liked them; however, one day I discovered that the icon stack had disappeared from my desktop. I suspect that this may have occured when I was loading new software but am not sure. If this was the cause, I am guessing that it probably happened when I loaded PowerDVD Ultra 11. I can't find the missing icons in the Recycle Bin. Since I didn't originally install Windows 7, I don't know if these icons are a standard part of Windows 7, or if they are pare of some custom application, etc. Since I learned to use the icons through trial and error, I am not even sure which programs/functions I was running when I was using them. I'd like to restore them, but really don't know where to begin. Help!!!! Bob

Hi, Please check whether you were using Windows DVD maker? If so, you can find it in Start Menu. You can also type Windows DVD Maker in Search Field of Start Menu, then you will find it is listed under Programs. If the application is not Windows DVD Maker, it is not a built in application. Maybe it is pre-installed by manufacturer.Juke Chou TechNet Community Support
