Lost Wireless Connection
Hi I loaded Win 7 RC onto my newtbook and configured to connect to my wireless router no problem. I used it for a couple of days with no problems. After not using the netbook for two days when I next powered it up it did not connect automatically to my home network, even though it was broadcasting, checked it was Ok with my laptop and it was. When I looked at the connections to try and connect I could not see my network listed, although I could see all other networks from the properties around me. I have tried a system resore but there is no restore point to go back to, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the NIC but still no joy. When I use the netbook on my network using a cable it works fine. My netbook is a Lenovo S10e, Intel Atom CPU N270 @ 1.60GHz; 1.5GB RAM; Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter.

Do you have any wireless organizersoftware? If "yes" dismiss it and letWindowsto make necessary adjustments in wi-fi mode.

Hi, May I know if this netbook can see other wireless connections? Just for a test, if you have another computer which has a wireless network adapter, please check if it can connect to your wireless network. You may also check if your wireless router is configured properly. Thanks.Nicholas Li - MSFT

Yes I can see other networks, and I have two other devices with wireless card which connect to my wireless network. And i am positive the router is configured correctly.
