Lost User Account in Windows XP Professional
I can't access my original Administrator User Account after an Adobe tech support person created a new User Account with administrative priviledges. The new user account, "Test" is the only account available for login and in the User Accounts in the Control Panel. How can I re-activate my Administrator? 1 person needs an answerI do too

Because you have XP Pro and were using the built-in Administrator for your daily account (not recommended), when the second administrative user was created the built-in Administrator was hidden from the Welcome Screen. This is by design. At the Welcome Screen do Ctrl-Alt-Del twice, which will get you the classic logon box. Enter "Administrator" (without the quotes) as the user and whatever password you were using. If you have no password, leave that field blank. Now you will be in your regular daily user account. Since it is unwise from an emergency standpoint to only have the one Administrator account on the system, don't delete "Test".
